A program for peak detection in chromatograms has been developed using Labview 3.0 which is a modern object oriented graphical programming language that can be operated on many different platforms. The peak detection is based on the calculation of the first derivative. To determine the limits of this peak detection, computer-simulated chromatograms have been used which is less time consuming than using experimental data.
