The article is devoted to the cultural and educational events dedicated to the celebration in 2014 of the 200th birth anniversary of M. Lermontov. The article describes the collections of the Russian State Library, involved in creation of the exhibitions dedicated to life and works of the Poet. There is described formation of exhibits for travelling exhibitions in Stavropol Regional Universal Research Library named after M. Lermontov and Kemerovo Regional Scientific Library named after V. Fedorov.
