The article is dedicated to the outstanding Russian artist from Tcherepovets Vladislav Aleksandrovich Sergeev, half a century ago tied his fate with Vologda land. There are described the milestones of the life and creative development of the master, who has recently celebrated his 75th anniversary. Special attention is paid to creation of the unique illustrations to the poetic collections of the great Russian poet Nikolay Rubtsov.
