Two hundred year ago at the General Staff and Main Headquarter of the Russian Army library was organized, which may be considered as the first military scientific library in Russia. The library represents an exclusive rich and significant collection of pre-revolutionary literature. The paper continues some journal publications on the history of the Russian military libraries.
