The article is devoted to the first military-library courses in the Vilna Military District organized by the district command through the involvement of a librarian of the 27-th artillery brigade military assembly, a junior captain V. Piotrovich. The state of the military librarianship in the district is shown. This paper is a continuation of the journal previous publications on military library history of the Russian Army.
