The authors describe a case of a relatively rare form of dermatosis - lamellar ichthyosis being an autosomal recessive disease - in a female patient aged 22. The population frequency of lamellar ichthyosis is from 1:200 000 to 1:300 000 newborns. The authors summarized data about the clinical picture and described problems with treatment of the disease.
