The authors present data of an examination of a patient aged 70 suffering from a relatively rare dermatosis - argyria. The diagnosiswas confirmed by professional case history, results of the histological examination of the skin and determination of the silvercontent in the biological environments and hair. The authors describe problems with diagnostics and treatment of the disease.
