The article presents the authors data related to an ongoing study of the expression of pro-inflammatory IL-1 and TNFalpha cytokines in affected skin foci in psoriatic patients. The authors revealed particular features related to the increasedexpression of IL-1 in the skin structures with absence of TNF alpha expression.
