Statement of the problem. The article is devoted to the problem of studying the language view of the world of a child with motor alalia. Today, the issue of studying the language view of the world, both collective and individual, is well developed. In line with the anthropocentric approach and sociolinguistic direction, pictures of the world of social groups, typical members of society and outstanding individuals are being restored. By researching Russian and foreign scientific sources in this linguistic direction, the author seeks to find out how well-developed is the direction of research of the language view of the world of a child with motor alalia as a representative of the child population, and determines the level of relevance of this direction for the science of language. The purpose of the article is to highlight the main directions of classical and modern research on this topic, the origins of the study and the current state of the issue. The research methodology contains a theoretical analysis of scientific literature and periodicals, analysis and synthesis of the data obtained. Research results. Studying the literature and publications in periodical scientific publications, the author comes to the conclusion about the prospects of this direction: the formed theoretical and methodological base correlates with the modern interest in the linguistics of children’s speech and psycholinguistic problems. Conclusion. A child with motor alalia is a representative of a child’s social group. The restoration of this child’s linguistic view of the world complements the information about the child’s linguistic view of the world and is a variant of the existence of the human linguistic view of the world.
