The article describes the latest works conducted in the temple of Heryshef during 2018 as a continuation of the tasks started in previous seasons. The places excavated include: the entrance to the temple, the pylon, and the peristyle court on its eastern side, places that Petrie and Naville could not reach. It has been possible to reach deeper levels, which are more ancient than the temple floor, through the dewatering project set in motion by the Antiquities Service at Beni Suef. Applying new methodology and techniques, these excavations helped us reach our main goals: establish the building sequence of the temple, solve the chronological succession of the building phases, and find new architectural elements. Through the location of intact and unaltered fillings, it has been possible to analyse complete sequences. Excavating the fillings by real stratigraphic units, with the purpose of isolating the archaeological materials that they contain, enables us to date the beginning of, and refurbishments executed, in the building
