Within the article, the essence and features of financial support for forestry development in Ukraine is considered. In particular, the analysis of the content of the category "financial support" is carried out, which allowed to clarify the essence of financial support for forestry development, features of the financing of forestry enterprises in Ukraine are specified. In addition, the basic sources of the forestry sector financing are identified and, taking into consideration this, perspective measures for improving mechanisms of the formation of financial resources for its development are substantiated. Within the article, it is noted that only a combination of such sources will ensure the formation of an optimal model of financial support for forestry enterprises.
