
REALISATION OF THE METHOD FOR TESTING THE TYPE AND VERIFICATION OF COMPRESSED GASEOUS FUEL MEASURING SYSTEMS FOR VEHICLES

Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals developed Rulebook on compressed gaseous fuel measuring systems for vehicles, published in “Official gazette of RS”, No. 9/2014, which represents transposition International recommendation OIML R139 of International organization for legal metrology into metrological legislation in Republic of Serbia. Thus, legal conditions were created for development and realization of the method for testing the type and verification of these measuring systems. The method of direct comparison measuring system with standard equipment was realized. DMDM purchased standard equipment within EU Project „Support of the quality infrastructure in Serbia” and Project of technical cooperation with national metrology institute in Germany (P TB -Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt), Technical cooperation project – PTB number 95089. Validation of the method and suitability of the equipment in conditions of use and training of the inspectors was carried out, and the method is validated and verified. In this work basics of the method and specification of the used measuring equipment are presented.
