Today, demand for quality food is increasing in the world. Ukraine also does not stand aside from these processes: there is an interest of both small and large agricultural enterprises in the production of goat products. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention to such factors as population education in the culture of consumption of highly valuable goat milk and products from it. The profitability of the industry exceeds 100% primarily due to the relatively simple technological scheme of goat rearing and keeping and high prices for products. Two types of countries are involved in goat milk production - the poorest and the gourmet: in the poorest countries, almost all goat's milk is produced and consumed on households, and in Europe - goes into processing and becomes cheese. The survey of farmers and households in the united territorial communities allowed to gather factual information on the state of development of the industry in Ukraine, identified weaknesses and suggested ways of development.
