First record of Tityus trivittatus (Scorpiones: Buthidae) in La Pampa province, Argentina

The sanitary important scorpion species Tityus trivittatus Kraepelin (Scorpiones: Buthidae) is reported for the first time from General Pico, La Pampa province. Specimens examined in this work were obtained in domiciliary environments. This represents a considerable expansion to the South of the distributional range of the species and the genus.
