Balinese culture is part of the National culture based on Pancasila that can not be separated from the static and dynamic of  the culture. The fundamental developments that can be felt in the globalization era are marked by changes in the social and cultural spheres so quickly. The influence of foreign culture and technological advancement for the people in Desa Pakraman Pausan, Desa Buahan Kaja, Kecamatan Payangan, Kabupaten Gianyar  are an opportunity and challenge for maintaining their ancestral tradition. In Desa Pakraman Pausan there is Sangkepan as a unique tradition that performed every Purnama and Tilem. Purnama-Tilem is an ancestral heritage until now and still preserved. The tradition of Purnama-Tilem is paruman from "Parsan" means meeting, which is must be done and implemented by the people of Desa Pakraman Pausan every 15 days. Based on the analysis, the conclution is Sangkepan Purnama-Tilem in their process divided into 6 stages namely; 1) Preparation Phase, 2) Nyangkepang, 3) The process of making Malang and Mareresik, 4) Ngider Bumbung, 5) Sangkepan process, 6) Distribution of Malang. The existence of sangkepan still be implemented because it is supported by dresta and awig-awig or rule that bind the people in Desa Pakraman Pausan. the Factors affecting of Sangkepan Purnama-Tilem still exist are Tri Hita Karana, social factor, religious factor and cultural factor  in Desa Pakraman Pausan. The implications of Purnama-Tilem are include: Social Implications, Religious Implications, Ceremonial Implications, Ethical and Cultural Implications and Balance and Harmony Implications.
