This paper reviews innovative solutions in various areas of passenger ship design and analyses applicability of these solutions for river-going ships, not only newbuildings but also modernized and converted vessels. Innovative solutions suggested for river cruise ships in this paper, considerably improve their technical parameters and cost efficiency, as well as enhance quality of river cruises.
