This paper gives modal and structural calculations of jack-up rigs at operational and transportation stages, as well as more accurate structural calculations for jack-up supports, as well as effective stress ranges at hot points. Based on these results, the paper gives a simplified fatigue strength calculation for jack-up support, by means of Weibull bi-parametric distribution. It also compares fatigue damage accumulation rates of jack-up at different stages of their life cycles, as well as predicts its residual lifetime.
