In the context of the all-round globalization of the world economy and the formation of civil society in Russia, the need to build an effective system of public administration is of particular relevance. First of all, this requires clarification and expansion of the conceptual apparatus in the field of public administration. Hence, this article reveals the concept and essence of public administration, examines the transformation processes in the Russian economy, examines the system of public administration in modern Russia and possible ways to improve the existing system.
