The article deals with the implementation of the national project "Demography" in the Stavropol territory, presents the socio-demographic situation in the region. The method used as the basis for a comprehensive study of the demographic situation in the Stavropol territory is a sociological survey conducted in the form of a questionnaire (February - March 2020). The study aimed to assess the level of satisfaction of the region's population with the state programs implemented in the field of social policy.
