The article presents the results of a study on the problem of choosing methods for assessing risks applicable in insurance organizations, taking into account the specifics of the activities of insurers. A comparative analysis of the methods is carried out, examples of their practical application are given. At the same time, special attention is paid to a new risk assessment method for the Russian economy - stress testing.
