The article raises the problem of understanding the essence of professional success of cadets and the relevance of its formation at the initial stage of training for further qualitative performance of their duties to ensure state and public security, protection of human and civil rights and freedoms. Special attention is paid to the stages of formation of professional success of cadets during their training. The positions of domestic and foreign authors to determine the conditions for the formation of professional success are given.
