The article is devoted to the consideration of social conflict as a subject of scientific analysis. An important stage in the study of social conflicts is the definition of the concept of social conflict itself and its main features. Social conflicts are measured by their versatility and multi-component nature. Each social conflict is unique enough that it requires a thorough study. Social conflict is the greatest degree of exacerbation of social contradictions, where there is a dispute between social subjects.
