The article presents the relationship between ecological entrepreneurship and local development. The term entrepreneurship (including the ecological one) is discussed in the article aswell as the conditions of its growth. Furthermore, the ecological entrepreneurship of business, public and social organizations working in a local commune is defined. Also, the natural environmentprotection issues in the system of entrepreneurship management of a commune isdiscussed.
