The development of SME (Small Medium Enterprise) is one of the most important factors thatinuence on the economic revival of the rural area. The recent economic revival of MiechowskiCounty points out to the domination of businesses connected with the trade and services. Onthe researched area there were 1302 SMEs that dealt with trade and servicing, whichconstitutes 43.3% of all researched SMEs. What came next on the list were businessesconnected with building industry (428 subjects, which is 14.2% of all researched subjects),transport, storage and communication (400 subjects, 13.1%).
