SEVENTEEN is a singer or boy group from South Korea. The @factseventeen account on Instagram currently contains information related to all activities of the SEVENTEEN Boyband, both in front of the camera and behind the camera. The Instagram account @factseventeen was founded on July 31, 2016, a year since SEVENTEEN officially debuted, and is the oldest and most up-to-date SEVENTEEN fan account. This study aims to find out how effective @factseventeen's Instagram content is to meet the information needs of SEVENTEEN fans. The respondents chosen by this researcher are Instagram followers from @factseventeen as fans of the SEVENTEEN band. The researcher uses the uses and gratification theory. This study uses a quantitative and survey of 100 respondents as a sample with a questionnaire as a research instrument used by researchers. the results of the study, obtained a positive and significant influence between the variables of the effectiveness of the Instagram account @factseventeen (X) on the fulfillment of the information needs of SEVENTEEN (Y) fans by consumers. The effectiveness of the content of the Instagram account @factseventeen has an influence on the variable of meeting the information needs of SEVENTEEN fans by 69.0%. SEVENTEEN merupakan grup penyanyi atau boy group yang berasal dari Korea Selatan. Akun @faktaseventeen di Instagram saat ini berisi informasi yang terkait dengan segala aktivitas Boyband SEVENTEEN, baik di depan kamera maupun di balik kamera. Akun Instagram @faktaseventeen didirikan pada 31 Juli 2016, setahun sejak SEVENTEEN resmi debut, dan merupakan akun khusus penggemar grup SEVENTEEN terlama dan paling up to date. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif konten Instagram @faktaseventeen untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi penggemar SEVENTEEN. Responden yang dipilih oleh peneliti ini yaitu pengikut Instagram dari @faktaseventeen selaku penggemar dari grup band SEVENTEEN. Peneliti menggunakan teori uses and gratification. Penelitian ini menggunakan berupa kuantitatif dan survey terhadap 100 responden sebagai sampel dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian yang digunakan peneliti. hasil penelitian, mendapatkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara variabel efektivitas akun Instagram @faktaseventeen (X) terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi penggemar SEVENTEEN (Y) oleh konsumen. Efektivitas konten akun Instagram @faktaseventeen mempunyai pengaruh terhadap variabel pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi penggemar SEVENTEEN sebesar 69,0%.
