The article presents an empirical study of the spatial movements of children, based on the key theoretical and methodological aspects of the study of children's everyday life. The description of the features of children's mobility is based on the study of the "home – school" route, as well as a comparative analysis of children's movements by gender, age and type of settlement, which characterizes the content and independence of children's mobility.
