Doctor of Political Science, Professor M.Yu. Shinkovsky made a great contribution to the formation of the Far Eastern school of regional and international political studies, as well as to the teaching of political science, international relations and regional studies at the universities of Vladivostok in the 1990s – 2000s. In connection with the 10th anniversary of his untimely death, we recall his scientific ideas and professional path.
