As getting older, a person will experience musculoskeletal weakness that will increase the risk of falling. Balance exercises to reduce the risk of falling is elderly gymnastics. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the level of body balance between elderly who did elderly gymnastics and those who did not in Dawan District. This research used observational analytic comparative research design with cross sectional approach method. The sample consisted of 44 people divided into two groups, the group of elderly who did gymnastics, and the group of elderly who did not do gymnastics at all. In the calculation of Mann Whitney-U showed that there was a difference in the body equilibrium rate between the elderly who didelderly gymnastics and those who did not with the value of p = 0,000 (p<0,05) in Dawan District.The conclusion of the study that there is a difference in the level of body balance between the elderly who did elderly gymnastics and those who did not in Dawan District.
