Young people in the suburbs need to create their own language to symbolically resist theexclusionary relationships maintained against them (social violence, discrimination, racism, exclusion). In addition, we can understand that young people from socioeconomically disadvantaged classes can find in a specific language a way to separate fromtheir place of residence, to belong to a group and thus obtain a positive social identity. There is a group of people who believe that this language is a mark of identity, but there areother people who believe that this language is a driving force of discrimination. What is therelationship between this language of young people and the feeling of exclusion; how youngpeople, through their codified language, challenge and experience this exclusion.
