Changes in communication have been fueled by the evolution of the internet as a platformfor interaction as well as by other technological advancements. Thus, the aim of the presentstudy is to analyze the media discourse used within different genres in the online context. The hypothesis I started from is that depending on the author’s assumptions regarding theaudience, there will be differences at various levels between genres (such as the stylisticlevel, the microstructure and macrostructure levels, and the morphological and syntacticallevels). The analysis conducted might help researchers gain new perspectives on thechanges that are taking place in the field of communication in the media.
