Resumen: Los renacentistas afirmaban que el Libro de la Naturaleza está escrito en lenguaje matemático. De entonces a nuestros días; la evolución del conocimiento invita a hacerse algunas preguntas sobre el papel de las Matemáticas en el desarrollo de las Ciencias Experimentales.Palabras clave: números “π”; “e”; “φ”; relación aurea; investigación operativa; algoritmo; distribución de Gauss; ecuaciones diferenciales; inconsistencia de las proposiciones formales.Abstract: Renaissance philosophers claimed the Book of the Nature is written in the language of mathematics.
