This paper will show that the current crisis in education is mainly due to the relativistic mentality prevalent in Western culture. The overall state of educational endeavours indicates countless incoherences / mismatches. Unfortunately, both educators and those they try to educate are deep and negatively affected by these incoherences. In order to resolve the situation, an honest and true answer must be found to the question of what-who is man.
