La sexualidad es constitutiva de la persona, compone su identidad. Puesto que la persona es, también constitutivamente, relativa a otras personas, el ejercicio de la sexualidad debe establecer y perfeccionar siempre una relación interpersonal estricta. Solo entonces se incrementa la libertad y el amor humanos, también en lo que atañe al dominio sobre el propio cuerpo.Sexuality is a constitutive component of a person, it composes its identity. Since a person is also constitutively, related to other persons, the exercise of sexuality must always establish and perfect a strict interpersonal relationship. Only then will human freedom and love be increased, even in what relates to the dominion of the body.
