In order to answer these questions much closer attention should be paid to what is usually called “mystical experience” which lies at the base of the religious experience diversity (William James) or “religious virtuosity” (Max Weber). In conformity with the problem of secularization, appealing to such an experience allows to understand an ambivalent character of secularization legitimating under the banner of free-thinking not only for the secular atheism and materialism, but also for the secular non-church religiosity.
