Pendahuluan: Pandemi COVID-19 di Indonesia memiliki dampak besar pada praktik pelayanan kedokteran gigi. Dokter gigi memiliki risiko tinggi terinfeksi COVID-19 pada praktik kedokteran gigi. Hal ini menunjukkan pentingnya tindakan pencegahan penularan COVID-19 dalam bentuk kontrol infeksi yang merupakan salah satu indikator penilaian kualitas praktik pelayanan kedokteran gigi. Protokol dan tindakan pencegahan dilakukan RS untuk kontrol infeksi, residen sebagai operator menjadi faktor yang berpengaruh dalam implementasi keselamatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perbedaan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pencegahan COVID-19 berdasarkan tahun angkatan pendidikan dan lama pengalaman bekerja. Metode: Jenis penelitian observasional cross-sectional dengan teknik total population sampling pada 58 mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Dokter Gigi Spesialis (PPDGS) Konservasi Gigi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Indonesia berbasis kuesioner daring yang terdiri dari 34 pertanyaan meliputi data pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan pencegahan COVID-19. Hasil: PPDGS Konservasi Gigi memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan tindakan pencegahan yang baik, serta sikap yang positif mengenai pencegahan COVID-19. Uji Mann-Whitney dan Kruskal Wallis menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna secara statistik (p>0,05) antara pengetahuan (p=0,15), sikap (p=0,61) dan tindakan pencegahan COVID-19 berdasarkan tahun angkatan pendidikan (p=0,32) dan lama pengalaman kerja (p=0,41). Simpulan: Tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan pencegahan COVID-19 berdasarkan tahun angkatan pendidikan dan lama pengalaman bekerja.Kata kunci: pengetahuan; sikap; tindakan pencegahan; COVID-19 ABSTRACTIntroduction: The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has significantly impacted dental services. Dentists are at high risk of contracting COVID-19 in their dental practice. This situation shows the importance of preventing the spread of COVID-19 in infection control, which is one of the indicators for assessing dental practice quality. The hospital carries out protocols, and preventive measures for infection control, the resident as an operator is an influential factor in the implementation of safety. The purpose of this study was to analyse differences in knowledge, attitudes, and preventive practices for COVID-19 based on years of education and length of work experience. Methods: An observational cross-sectional study was conducted on 58 students of the Conservative Dentistry Specialist Program (PPDGS) Faculty of Dentistry University of Indonesia, taken as samples with a total population sampling technique, with an online questionnaire consisting of 34 questions concerning data on knowledge, attitudes, and preventive practices for COVID-19. Results: Students of the Conservative Dentistry Specialist Program have a good level of knowledge and preventive measures and a positive attitude regarding COVID-19 prevention. The Mann-Whitney and Kruskal Wallis tests showed no significant difference (p>0.05) between knowledge (p=0.15), attitude (p=0.61), and COVID-19 preventive practices based on the year of education (p=0.32) and length of work experience (p=0.41). Conclusions: There are no differences in knowledge, attitudes, and preventive practices for COVID-19 based on years of education and length of work experience.Keywords: knowledge; attitude; practice; prevention; COVID-19
