The interrelated concepts — «digitalization», «educational technologies EdTech», «education throughout life» are considered. Using the example of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, it is shown that the digitalization of education is accompanied by the widespread introduction of digital educational platforms and the development of technologies and the EdTech market. It was noted that the coronavirus pandemic has updated teachers and students request for mastering innovative ways of organizing learning activities, for more flexible interaction in the network, while at the same time turning the EdTech market into one of the fastest growing in the world.
