The article is devoted to the current problem for the economic development of Russia — the organization of individual digital business. The results of the analysis of two common organizational-legal forms — self-employment and individual entrepreneurship — are presented. The main factors influencing the choice of the form of organization of business are outlined. The features and prospects of individual entrepreneurship are considered in the context of digitalization of the Russian economy.
