The article presents the results of a study of the peculiarities of the formation of professional stress in Emergencies Ministry officials. The psychological structure of the symptoms of emotional burnout syndrome and its relationship with the level of neuropsychic stability of firefighters and rescuers of the Tver region were revealed. The diagnostic tools of the study were made up by the methods of V.V. Boyko and Yu.A. Baranova. Based on the results of the study demonstrating the relationship of acute stress disorders with the specifics of professional activity, the conclusion about the presence of burnout syndrome in formative stage in firefighters and rescuers and about a sufficiently high level of neuropsychic stability, allowing Emergencies Ministry officials to work successfully.
