The authors analyze the dynamics of content of ideas that fund social change. The main focus is on the transformation of meanings under the influence of postmodern discourse and digitalization. The ambivalent role of advanced information and communication technologies in the perception, interpretation and understanding of ideas is shown. The increase in the share of fake information that transforms key meanings in intellectual constructs is underlined. The modern experience of the ideological determination of social transformations is considered.
