The author reveals not only the main theoretical provisions of the conceptual approach to managing the development of scientific and production complexes, but also the main aspects of the practical implementation of this approach. The article shows the peculiarity of the approach related to the consideration of systemic properties and regularities in the formation of integrated strategies and mechanisms for managing the development of scientific production complexes as complex socio-economic systems.
