In the article the stages of carrying out repairs and renovations of a coal-cutting machine on the construction of a normal type 401 Wb. The types of damage and fractures of the carbide elements de-scribed. Particularly described positions used to repair these defects. It is noticed that the thinnest types of damages of this type of carcass are: wear of the side walls and floor of the wagon through goods such as coal, scrap, ores; wear and failure of brake pads, fatigue cracks in the wagon supporting springs; wear and failure of bumpers; dis-placement of the wheel rim relative to the barefoot..
