The paper presents the research of the two-cameras driver assistance system (SWK-2) during maneuvers of coupling the car with gooseneck type NGS-9.6 and during reversing maneuvers with the whole unit. The SWK-2 driver assistance system is used when coupling a set of vehicles and allows the driver to perform this as one-man operation. Fixing the wireless camera under the trailer's ramp allows the driver full control when reversing the whole unit. It also affects the improvement of the driver's safety and increases safety during the reversing maneuver.
