Paper discusses factors affecting the quality of transport of perishable food. A questionnaire was used in the research part of the work. The survey allowed to obtain the data, which was needed to determine the frequency of appearance of shortcomings, that result from incorrect transport conditions, lack of specialist knowledge of drivers, failure to provide required means of transport for food transport, or short of appropriate quality standards in enterprises. The questionnaire was addressed to people who manage food transport in companies that operate in Poland.
