Paper The operation of the power system and the internal combustion engine itself is accompanied by energy losses of 60-65%. The article introduce the issue of loss of kinetic energy of gas fuel resulting from the operation of the fuel pressure regulator. It was proposed to replace the traditional pressure regulator with an electric turbine station. It has been shown that such a system enables the use of energy to reduce gas pressure which has a positive effect on improving the overall energy efficiency of the engine
