The purpose of the conducted research was to assess railway connections and public transport in the context of the choice of means of transport. The research consisted in examining the actual travel time of regional passenger trains and public transport vehicles and determining the number of passengers in public transport vehicles under conditions of actual operation. The conducted research may be one of the factors confirming the possibility of using the existing infrastructure and the railway connection network in Szczecin.
