The article presents an overview of modern trams, operated in public transport. The tram system which was neglected in Poland, has been experiencing dynamic development in recent years. As part of EU projects, Polish cities have begun investing in new rolling stock and infrastructure. Therefore, investments in public transport have made it more competitive in relation to individual transport. This prompted many manufacturers to design trams, not only with higher quality, comfort of travel, but also meeting the applicable environmental standards.
