The article presents the results of an empirical study aimed at exploring the lifestyle of people in difficult living conditions. The descriptive characteristics of the environment differentiated by several factors directly influencing the formation of an individual lifestyle are provided (based on the respondents’ self-reports) and the “core” and “peripheral” structures of the lifestyle of people living in deficient conditions are identified.
