
Comparative content analysis of studies on new approaches in education

The aim of this article is to analyze the content of the articles published in Google Scholar on new approaches in education. These approaches; Multiple intelligence theory, Constructivism, Social Learning theory, Style-oriented and Scenario-based learning. The distribution of the analyzed studies according to the years of publication, the languages they were published in, the disciplines, the methods, data collection tools, the distribution of the participants according to their gender, the distribution of the participants according to their occupational characteristics, the distribution by age, the data analysis methods and the number of pages were examined. It was concluded that the distribution of the published articles according to the disciplines in which they were written on multiple intelligence, and social learning were mostly found in Science. Style oriented was used in the field of education programs and in scenario-based the most studies took place in Mathematics and Language.
