LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract in English only.The "Fitness For All Program" is an important strategic policy change in promotion of physical fitness for the whole community in China. It has made significant changes in the lives of Chinese people. This review introduces how the "Fitness For All Program" has been formed, developed, and conducted in China, and how it is integrated into the lives of the people. The paper discusses different attitudes and responses towards carrying out this project. Some suggestions are put forward for its development in terms of promotion and the usage of sports facilities.
