LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in English; abstract also in Chinese. This quantitative study measured endocrine system pre- and post-test scores of 77 sixth grade science students at a Midwestern middle school. Results indicated higher post-test science scores and differences in scores by race. It was concluded that middle school students differ in their level of understanding of life science information.
